Your learning experience matters to us as much as what you learn, which is why we learn from the best in the world when it comes to both developing and designing our courses.
The wold of learning has changed considerably over the past 10 years with some of the most notable changes since 2020. You can now choose to learn in a traditional classroom setting or opt for one of the many more flexible and self paced approaches online learning has brought to the table. Classroom, fully online, virtual and blended options are once more being transformed by the sophisticated technology of simulation, gamification, haptics and more recently AI.
Where do we fit in all this? From a Christian perspective we believe transformation takes place through the renewal of your mind. Learning is a key part of this, but mostly, it's renewing your mind to align with Biblical principles, values, standards, ideas and ways. That said, your mind can equally be renewed through a classroom setting as it can a simulated scenario in a virtual room. However, not all learning experiences are created equally, which is why we focus on 'what' you are learning and ensure how we deliver this maximises your ability to take it from the computer or classroom to the office with ease.
Research coupled with our 30 years experience in the design and development of education and professional development programmes reveals a combination of online, virtual and in classroom learning delivers an exceptional learning experience which fosters long term transformation and development. This 'blended' approach to learning gives you the breathing space to learn online at your own convenience, connect virtually for accountability, ask questions and stay on track plus an on campus experience where debate, discussions, conversations and interactions help challenge and accelerate your progress.
Our content is not just someone's experience. Over seven years we have carefully researched and crafted the programmes to offer you a unique combination of theology, best practice and research in leadership in order to give you the best possible content. This work has positioned us to understand what it takes to cast off worldly leadership and bring Christ into the workplace professionally. We know how to move past the exhaustion of servant leadership and leadership models that stifle, to embrace your gifts and calling as the salt and light of the world.
Our team has developed everything from MOOC's (massive open online courses) to University level online Degree and Post Grad programmes of study. This means we know how to keep content streamlined and focused on what matters. This experience also gives us the know-how to design meaningful activities helping you put what you have learnt into practice. You build knowledge and know-how together.
We've even included a guide about how to learn best online!
Each week connect with your Course Lead and other participants in the Leaders Lounge. Asking questions, conferring and drawing on the experience of other participants is a valuable part of your learning. You'll leave with actionable points and create deeper conversations as the programme unfolds. It's also a great accountability point for those days that seem extra difficult.
Harvard University pioneered the case study approach to learning and have been using it for decades. Why? The experience allows participants to fully immerse themselves in a situation in order to problem solve, think critically, strategise and examine their own responses and behaviours.
We've adopted this approach because it offers participants an incredible opportunity to examine and explore complex organisational issues from multiple perspectives adding a rich tapestry of knowledge and skills to your leadership.
Fellowship is important, but when it comes to learning, coming together adds a unique dimension like no other.
Over 3 days you will debate, problem solve, analyse and strategise. Case studies will challenge your perspective and enable you to explore your leadership. We delve into theology and examine our worldly thoughts and ideals, challenging each other to Biblical perspectives that free us from strongholds and limitations.
