Refund and Cancellation Policy

Under UK law, you may have the right to cancel or request a refund under certain circumstances, in accordance with this policy. 

1. Paid Upfront Online Courses and Online Course Upgrades

If you paid to access a paid upfront online/virtual hybrid course refunds can only be issued if:

1. You have requested it within the 14 day cooling off period (further details below);
2. You have not completed (or attempted to complete) any tests; and,
3. You have not received a Certificate of Achievement or Statement of Participation (whether digital or physical) on the course.

The 14 day cooling off period begins:

For Paid Upfront Online Courses:

1. If you purchased before the course started, on the day the first day of the course start.
2. If you purchased after a course launch date, on the day you made the purchase.

Once your access to the Paid Upfront Online Course has been removed, you will not be able to access any part of the course, take part in any tests or received a digital or printed Certificate.

 For Online Course Upgrades:

 1. On the day you paid to upgrade.

Once your upgraded online course or access has been removed, you will not be able to access any part of the course, take part in any tests or received a digital or printed Certificate.  

2. Unlimited Access

Refunds can only be issued if:

1. You have requested it within the 14 day cooling off period, which begins on the day you paid for Unlimited;
2. You have not completed (or attempted to complete) any tests; and
3. You have not received a Certificate of Achievement or Statement of Participation (whether digital or physical on the course)

Once your Unlimited access has been removed, you will not be able to access any course. This includes not being able to take part in any tests or to receive a digital or printed certificate.

3. Subscription Access

You are granted a free 7 day free trial period for access to Subscription Access on the Christian Management Academy Website (the 'Free Trial Period'). This allows you to sample courses with limited access rights, including taking tests and Certification rights. By signing up to Subscription Access for the Free Trial Period, you agree that any statutory cooling off period begins on the day you start your Free Trial Period and it ends exactly 7 days after the Free Trial Period starts. Once your Free Trial Period has expired, you have agreed to be charged the subscription amount specified on the website, before any discounts or promotional codes have been applied.

To avoid being charged the subscription fee for Subscription Access, you must cancel your Subscription Access before the Free Trial Period ends. If you do cancel your subscription after the 7 day Free Trial Period, you will continue to have access until the end of the subscription period and will not be billed for any Subscription Access in the next billing subscription cycle.

Your Subscription Access and payment requirement will automatically terminate when you complete the courses within your Subscription Access or subscription term/duration purchased.

Subscription Access Refund Policy: We do not offer refunds to payments made on any monthly subscription plan for Subscription Access. Your subscription will automatically renew unless and until you cancel your subscription or if you or if your subscription is suspended or removed by Christian Management Academy or until you complete the courses within your Subscription Access.

If you are entitled to a refund for options listed above, we will refund you on the credit card or debit card used by you to pay for the product or access to courses.

3.Course Cancellations

Cancellation by us:

We reserve the right to cancel a course in the event of exigent circumstances, or for any reason, or purpose.

In the event of course cancellation, by us, a transfer to alternative course dates may be offered, or transfer to an alternative course. Where suitable alternative course dates cannot be offered, course fees paid will be refunded, less an administration fee of £200.

The Christian Management Academy, The Salt & Light Network or any of it's representatives are not responsible for and hold no responsibility for any other expenses or costs incurred by the student, their organisation or any representative due to cancellation of a course by us. This includes, but is not limited to any expenses such as accommodation, travel, visa etc.

If you are travelling to London or Brisbane for your course, we recommend considering appropriate insurance and checking carefully the cancellation terms of your accommodation and transport carriers. Please also see the Terms and Conditions relating to International Students.

Cancellation by you:

MORE than 30 days BEFORE the scheduled start date of the course

If you have paid a deposit for a course or paid in full for a course course and you wish to cancel your place for ANY reason, MORE than 30 days BEFORE the scheduled start date, refunds can only be issued if:

1. You have requested your place to be cancelled, in writing BEFORE 30 days of the scheduled start date of the course and;
2. You do not wish to reschedule to an alternative scheduled course date or other course and;
3. You have not completed (or attempted to complete) any assessments in the online portion of the course; and
4. You have not received a Certificate of Achievement or Statement of Participation (whether digital or physical on the course) from the course.

Once your access to the online course has been removed, you will not be able to access any course. This includes not being able to take part in any tests or assessment or to receive a digital or printed certificate.

If you have met the above conditions, you will be eligible for a refund. All cancellations meeting the above conditions incur a 20% cancellation fee which is 20% of your course fees paid. You will receive 80% of your course fee paid as a refund.

No refunds apply for transferring to any other course offered.  
No other offers or discounts can be applied to course fees already paid when transferring to another scheduled course date.


LESS than 30 days BEFORE the scheduled start date of the course
 

If you paid a deposit and scheduled payments or in full for Course and you wish to cancel your place for ANY reason, 14 to 30 days BEFORE the scheduled start date, you are subject to a fee of exactly one-half of the course fee or fees paid (in the case of a deposit plus payment plan arrangement).    

If you have requested a refund less than 30 days BEFORE the scheduled start date of the course and:

1. You have commenced ANY part of the online course, or
2. You have completed (or attempted to complete) ANY  tests in the online course, or
3. You have received a Certificate of Achievement or Statement of Participation (whether digital or physical on the course) from the online course

You will be deemed as having commenced the course as an online student and no refunds will be offered.

If you have requested a refund less than 30 days BEFORE the scheduled start date of the course and:

1. You have not commenced ANY part of the online course, or
2. You have not completed (or attempted to complete) ANY tests in the online course; and
3. You have not received a Certificate of Achievement or Statement of Participation (whether digital or physical on the course) from the online course  

You will be offered to transfer as to another course of equal value and no refunds will be offered. (discounts not applied)

If you are entitled to a refund for options listed above, we will refund you on the credit card or debit card used by you to pay for the product or access to courses. All refunds will be processed within 30 days.

4.Digital Downloads

No refunds are available on any digital download. No responsibility is taken for any software or device system upgrades required by you to view or download any digital download.

This policy is subject to amendment, revision and updates. You will be notified of any changes to our policies.
